He received his B. S., M. S. and Ph.D. degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China in 1999, 2002 and 2008, respectively. He worked with Harbin Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2011. He also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow with Department of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2009 to 2011. Now he is a full professor with School of Computer Science and Technology, Tianjin University. His research interests are focused on intelligent modeling, data mining, knowledge discovery for classification and regression. He is a PC co-chair of RSCTC 2010 and severs as referee for a great number of journals and conferences. He has published more than 80 journal and conference papers in the areas of reasoning with uncertainty, pattern recognition and fault diagnosis.
